“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11.
The Psalms are always encouraging to read, especially as we take each step God reveals. We walk confidently knowing that God will show us our future if we walk in His presence. In this newsletter, we inform you of a trip to Panama and the next big step we are taking for God.
In March, we were privileged to visit with Brother Nathan and Sister Mindy Snow in Panama. We were able to visit all four of the churches where the Snows work. It was wonderful to feel the presence of the Lord in the services and to see souls touched by God.
The Panamanians were not the only people touched; several services touched our hearts. One was at the church at Oma where several new converts really sought God. There were also three that testified of receiving salvation in that service. We also visited Escopeta (the gold mine church) where we met Christians who knew very little about God or the Bible just a few years ago. When we visited Congo (the campground church), the youth had learned an English song for us and the pastor had special prayer for our family. At the last church we visited, we gave out Christmas gifts from “One Child’s Chance.”
Additionally, we visited with the John Roberts family and attended service at one of their churches. Another blessing was seeing Brother Derek Rich and his family and attending two church services together. It was encouraging and helpful to see other laborers in the field.
Since we have returned from Panama, I have applied for Spanish language classes at Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas. This language school has been highly recommended by several missionaries who have attended there. Orientation is the week of August 5th, classes start August 12th, and graduation will be in May 2025. Julia and the two youngest children will be coming to Texas around the middle of August while our three oldest children will attend Heritage Bible College. We will rent an apartment on the college campus and attend church at Champion Holiness Mission with Pastor Titus Shuecraft.
The cost for the Spanish School alone is estimated to be $9,000 not including daily living expenses while in Texas. We are thankful to all the pastors and churches that have opened their doors for us to share our burden and have already given support to help with these expenses.

If you would like to give a tax-deductible donation, you can write a check to MCOT (our church) and put H.O.P.E Missions in the memo. Also, our mailing address is PO Box 44, Axton VA 24054. Online giving will be available when our 501c3 status is complete.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we follow the leading of the Lord.
